The Strategic Partner Director is focused on building, maintaining and growing relationships with both existing and new partners in the academic, training, and corporate markets.  The ability to build trusted relationships, prospect, negotiate, and close new opportunities will be key skills needed for this role.  Just as important, the person selected for this role will need to develop positive relationships with internal CREW members.  We are looking for self-motivated CREW members who will bring energy, fun, and professionalism to the department and company.  Meeting and/or exceeding the company’s sales goals will be instrumental to the success in this role, along with other company defined KPI’s. 

Salary: Circa $85,000 +uncapped commission

Location: Remote / East Coast - this is a remote role however, we are ideally looking for candidates from the US, East Coast area.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Become a product expert, SME (Subject Matter Expert)
  • Focus on growth opportunities within a named set of strategic & new partner organisations
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Keep abreast of technology, certification updates and job role trends
  • Travel to Strategic Partners as needed
  • Provide demonstrations through face-to-face meetings or through web meetings
  • Negotiate pricing
  • Work with contracts and negotiate usage terms
  • Find decision makers and involve them early on in discussions
  • Effectively manage sales from a bottom up/top down approach

Skills required:

  • 3 years of successful Strategic Channel Partner experience
  • Working knowledge of Practice Labs platform
  • CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • High level negotiation
  • Team player in word and in deed
  • Self-motivated learning style
  • Effective Account Management
  • Multi-tasking
  • Good communication skills involving various audiences
  • Ability to locate decision makers

Experience desired:

  • 5 plus years of proven Partner Sales Experience
  • IT and/or education/training sales experience would be helpful
  • CRM experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Building relationships and sales skills in a virtual and in-person environment 

Contract Type:     Full Time

Location:     US (East Coast) based - fully remote
