As a Content Development Program Manager your role will include the creation, and maintenance of our content development roadmap as well as the management and coordination of resources to deliver against the roadmap.

Learner focused, you will lead our Content Development Team to ensure workload is balanced and projects are completed on time and within budget. You will provide advice and counsel to Specialists and Administrators related to tasks and operations.

With a passion for teamwork and collaboration, you will partner across functional teams to drive projects, evangelize program management best practices, and oversee the timely delivery of products to market. 

Duties & responsibilities:

Program Planning -

  • Lead the Content Development team in the research, scope, and planning of product releases.
  • Create project schedules to include resources, budget, and release dates.
  • Maintain and prioritise the product roadmap.

Project Communication -

  • Communicate workflow activities and project status to Head of Production.
  • Escalate risks and bottlenecks to Head of Production. 
  • Ensure the transparent communication of project release status, potential project delays, or budget conflicts across Functional areas and Stakeholders.

Resource Management -

  • Lead the Content Development team comprised of Administrators, Specialists, and SMEs.

Product Maintenance:

  • Facilitate and collaborate in the creation of product documentation and content development guidelines.
  • Stay informed of product failure and issue rates, determine when product reviews/updates are necessary, and work with the larger Team to scope effort.

Skills & Experience:

Essential -

  • 2-4 years of Project Management experience with proven track record of managing deadline driven projects.
  • Experience with dispersed teams and line management responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of project management methods (Waterfall, Agile, or Kanban).
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft 365.

Good to have - 

  • Experience with online or remote learning products and platforms.
  • Instructional design and/or experience in the eLearning development best practices (ADDIE or ISD).

Contract Type:     Full Time

Location:     Dartford, Kent - flexible remote
