Account Manager - Circa £32,500 + uncapped commission

We're looking for an exceptional individual with a diverse sales skillset to support and build the Practice Labs customer base.   The role will report directly to the Head of Growth, EMEA and you can work the way you want - be based at our office in Dartford, Kent, be flexi-remote or fully remote.

As the Account Manager, you will be involved in prospecting new business opportunities, maintaining and growing an existing client base, and expanding the Practice Labs footprint within a given territory.  You will need to keep abreast of industry relevant certifications and IT learning processes to assist not only sales growth, but Practice Lab’s desire to keep a finger on the pulse of the market segments that we operate in.  The ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new opportunities will be key skills needed for this role. 

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue within an existing territory
  • Prospect new business opportunities
  • Manage a sales pipeline
  • Expand existing business
  • Match or exceed sales targets
  • Manage accounts within Salesforce
  • Travel to key accounts once a quarter at minimum, attend tradeshows
  • Provide demonstrations through web meetings or on site
  • Communicate through phone calls first and email second
  • Consultative sales approach to close business

Skills required:

  • Ability to learn the Practice Labs platform and products available
  • Successful track record in sales and building relationships
  • Ambitious to build a career in sales to meet sales goals and KPI's
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CRM experience and best practice within CRM (ideally Salesforce)
  • Ability to listen and ask questions to discover customer needs, present solutions, create proposals, and close opportunities
  • Self-motivated with positive and optimistic attitude
  • Demonstrate and uphold CREW values
  • Ability to make decisions in an autonomous environment
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
  • Maintain a professional image of Practice Labs and as an individual

Experience desired:

  • 3 years minimum of account management and business development experience
  • IT and/or education/training sales experience would be helpful
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Building relationships and sales skills in a virtual and in-person environment
